Process Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Set up parameters for mold and extrusion machines according to specifications.
• Perform changeovers on mold and extrusion machines to ensure seamless production.
• Ensure machine parameters align with those specified during validation processes.
• Verify that installations and utilities meet operational requirements.
• Document setup procedures, parameters, and tools used during machine setup.
• Collaborate with operators and leadership to resolve production line issues.
• Troubleshoot and analyze process-related challenges to maintain smooth operations.
• Clean tools thoroughly before returning them to the tool shop.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as necessary to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of molding and extrusion machines.
• Follow the daily production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Verify machine setups at the beginning of each shift to ensure accuracy.
• Strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all processes.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Efficiently diagnose and resolve routine or minor equipment issues.
• Provide technical support for ongoing projects and contribute to defect reduction efforts.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support developmental teams with research.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience with molding and/or extrusion processes preferred.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and communicating in English.
