Job Description
Clean, assemble, and set up production equipment; perform machine setups and changeovers according to schedule.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to help meet daily and weekly production goals.
Provide guidance and training to team members on safe and proper equipment use.
Perform basic mechanical repairs and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
Learn and follow detailed operation procedures for various production equipment and processes.
Monitor and maintain accurate measurements related to product quality and process performance.
Manage inventory of materials and supplies needed for production activities.
Understand product specifications and assist in maintaining quality control documentation.
Record production data and maintain accurate logs.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ensure proper handling of materials.
Promote workplace safety by identifying hazards and following safety procedures.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate degree preferred.
2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with machine setup and operation.
Familiarity with production equipment and basic mechanical skills.
Ability to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
Knowledge of safety standards in a production setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others.
