Laboratory Associate

Indianapolis $20.00 - $24.00 p/h Permanent


  • Perform routine laboratory tasks including but not limited to sample preparation, equipment calibration, and maintenance of laboratory supplies and inventory.
  • Assist scientists in conducting experiments by preparing reagents, setting up equipment, and following established protocols with precision and accuracy.
  • Record experimental data accurately and meticulously and assist in data analysis under the guidance of senior researchers.
  • Adhere to strict quality control standards and procedures to ensure the reliability and validity of experimental results.
  • Maintain thorough and organized documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic databases.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional groups to achieve project goals and objectives in a timely manner.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory setting (undergrad or industry)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols accurately.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
