Job Responsibilities:
Utilize deep expertise in packaging design within highly regulated industries to develop packaging systems that align with internal standards, customer needs, and global regulatory expectations.
Partner with suppliers to identify and source appropriate packaging components and materials.
Lead and coordinate packaging testing activities, including distribution and performance simulations.
Establish, update, and maintain internal packaging standards and best practices.
Drive multiple packaging projects in parallel, ensuring critical deliverables are met on time.
Ensure packaging equipment, processes, and designs adhere to quality system requirements and industry regulations.
Support verification and validation of packaging designs and related manufacturing processes.
Prepare, maintain, and organize technical documentation in compliance with quality systems.
Proactively identify risks or issues in packaging systems and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Collaborate effectively across functions and maintain clear, professional communication within a global environment.
Job Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Packaging Science or a related field, OR
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Packaging Science, or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR
Equivalent technical background with demonstrated expertise in medical or pharmaceutical packaging.
Hands-on experience with regulated packaging materials such as Tyvek, polymer films, and thermoformed trays.
Familiarity with packaging test methods and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 11607, ASTM F88, F1886, F2096, D4169).
