Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Perform metal fabrication tasks, including machining and welding (ARC, MIG, TIG)
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems such as conveyors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, and hydraulic equipment
• Service and maintain facility utility systems, including compressed air, boilers, RO systems, and CO₂ receivers
• Apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure equipment safety compliance
• Conduct preventive maintenance, including lubrication, inspections, and adjustments to optimize equipment performance
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including low/high voltage circuits, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and safety devices
• Support equipment upgrades, predictive maintenance programs, and process improvement initiatives
• Train team members, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and provide shift coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership
• Be available for rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency repair assignments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, dial indicators, and micrometers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-demand setting
