Formulation Chemist

Indianapolis 25 - 35 p/h Contract

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the development of new active ingredients and formulations 

• Collaborate with other functions across the company 

• Maintain good laboratory documentation and safety procedures 

• Conduct experiments, interpret results, and troubleshoot product quality issues 

• Qualify new ingredient sources and support shelf-life date extensions 

• Capture intellectual property and write research reports 

• Support the product registration process 

• Experience with biological actives and fermentation is a plus 

• Knowledge of formulation design and development preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Qualifications:

• B.S. in Life Science (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Preferred) 

• 2+ years of formulation technology experience 

• Strong knowledge of biological actives 

• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion 

• Experience with laboratory and quality control procedures
