Planning Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze and determine the optimal production schedule for customer orders, considering key inputs such as customer requirements from project management, production sequencing, and availability of raw materials and equipment.
• Interpret and communicate any special requirements to the relevant personnel.
• Update plans and changes in the inventory management system as needed.
• Support new product introductions, bill of materials (BOMs), and item master updates.
• Verify material availability and capacity before rescheduling production.
• Create, monitor, and update manufacturing work orders and parts lists in the system.
• Ensure the effectiveness of Quality System components related to this role.
• Update existing reports and develop new ones, tracking departmental performance metrics as required.
• Maintain the work area in accordance with 5S standards and adhere to all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for assigned duties and tasks.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience interacting and collaborating with internal and external clients, customers, and suppliers.
• Experience with electronic ERP and Material Management systems is essential.
• Prior experience in a cGMP environment is required.
