Incoming Quality Control Technician

Indianapolis $40,000 - $55,000 Permanent

  Job Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within a team and contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Set deadlines and prioritize tasks for self and relevant teams, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Review work completed by colleagues to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address quality-related concerns for operational materials.
  • Recognize and act with urgency to meet turnaround times and ensure timely material release.
  • Conduct sampling and inspection of incoming materials.
  • Perform visual inspections and dimensional analyses of components.
  • Verify instruments as required.
  • Generate and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for material release.
  • Conduct peer reviews of data as needed.
  • Arrange and coordinate external testing, including shipment of samples to third-party laboratories.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred, or a high school diploma with at least two (2) years of experience in Quality Control within a regulated industry.
  • Strong mathematical and documentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a highly regulated environment.
  • Proficiency in computerized data management and analysis systems (e.g., LIMS, QMS).
