Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

• Performs accurate and timely testing of routine lab samples in accordance with appropriate GMP and safety guidelines
• Participate in biological assay experiments
• Work with different instruments to adequately analyze the samples
• Recording all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
• Maintaining equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
• Special projects will be performed as needed
• Works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Cell Culture experience (mammalian preferred)
• Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
• Experience working in an industry setting
• Ability to work well in a team and successfully work to deliver against challenging projects and timelines
